When
Robert Mallorie returned from WWII
he finished his education at Ohio
State University in Veterinary
Science. Robert Mallorie
came to Oregon and was a
Veterinarian who cared for large
farm animals. He started
with nothing and founded the dairy
in 1954. He took good care
of his cows, his family and his
customers until his death in 1996.
The family has worked at the dairy
for more than 50 years.
Three generations are now involved
in the dairy's operations.
The
dairy is located in Silverton,
Oregon, which is approximately 12
miles northeast of Salem.
Mallorie's provides milk to the
communities of Silverton, Salem,
Keizer, Woodburn, Canby,
McMinnville, Albany, Lebanon,
Wilsonville, Stayton, Independence,
Lake Oswego
and Mt. Angel.
Mallorie's Dairy continues to be
owned by the family members of
Robert Mallorie. Teri
Mallorie Kilgus, daughter of
Robert Mallorie, began working on
the dairy as a teen. Teri is
now responsible for the care of
the cows. Richard Mallorie,
son of Robert Mallorie, is the
current president. He began
working with this dad when we was
five years old.
